SAP Forms are used to create many types of documents that are likely to be printed: bills, receipts, many types of orders and much more.
SAP has three types of forms:
Sapscripts: these were the first forms in SAP. They are old and it takes more time to develop than the other types of forms in SAP.
Smartforms: they replaced Sapscripts as from SAP R/3 release 4.7. They are more friendly than Sapscripts.
Adobe Forms: These are the latest forms of SAP. As the name suggests, they are part of a collaboration with Adobe. In some aspects they are similar to Smartforms, but they offer more possibilities.
In this section you will find information about each of these form types.
